The 2009 Dinner and Presentation of the Awards, generously supported by Yorkshire Forward, took place at Grimsby Auditorium on 19 June. A fantastic opportunity for the Northern Lincolnshire business community to get together and celebrate business success in the region. And celebrate they did!

Following a ‘Champagne’ Reception sponsored by BT Local Business Yorkshire & the Humber, guests sat down to a traditional British Roast Beef Dinner before being entertained to a ‘Best of British’ cabaret show, including Britain’s Got Talent runners-up Signature, opera singer Kateriana Fenech, Scots Guard Association Pipe & Drums, a Vivian Westwood style fashion show by Grimsby Institute students and a rousing Last Night of the Proms finale.  Guests were entertained at table by magicians, balloon modellers, stilt walkers and even a game of ‘pass the parcel’.  The Awards were hosted by ‘Time Lord’ Will McFadzean and the Awards were presented by Helen Philpot, ex BBC and present MD of Immage Studios Immingham.
