Applicants need to demonstrate through their application how they have made significant progress as a small business.
ABP Business Growth Award
This award recognises the Northern Lincolnshire based business which has significantly grown its workforce, turnover or profit since last year. Applicants need to demonstrate through their application how their business has experienced positive business growth.
North East Lincolnshire Enterprise Award for New Business
This award recognises the development made by a North East Lincolnshire based new business which is less than three years old at the time of application. Applicants needed to demonstrate through their application how they have made significant progress as a new business.

North East Lincolnshire Economic Investment Award
This award recognises the contribution a business has made to the local economy. Open to any business that has relocated to or significantly expanded in North East Lincolnshire in the past five years. Applicants needed to demonstrate how they had contributed to the economic success of the area.

Natwest International Trade Award
This award recognises a Northern Lincolnshire based business which has significantly grown its international trade in the past year. Applicants need to demonstrate through their application how they had experienced significant growth in international trade either through imports or exports.
Grimsby Institute Training Excellence Award
This awards recognises organisations within the private or public sector. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate, through their entry, how implementing training and staff development brings measurable productivity benefits which creates real business impact for the organisation.
ConocoPhillips Excellence in Community Relations Award
This award recognises a successful Northern Lincolnshire company whose approach to corporate and social responsibilities demonstrates a positive impact on the community.
Business Link Yorkshire Innovation Award
This award provides recognition to those businesses that have found and developed new solutions to business growth and competitiveness. Its not just about new ‘inventions’ it’s about finding new ways of doing things. This award is open to all Small and Medium Sized Enterprises in North East Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire, whether you are self-employed, a social enterprise or employ up to 250 people.
Wilkin Chapman Business Person of the Year Award
This award recognises the Northern Lincolnshire Business Person of the Year who can be nominated by themselves or by a third party.
Forrester Boyd Business Excellence Award
This award recognises the Northern Lincolnshire based business which has stood out as a shining beacon of excellence. Applicants will have shown how their business has attained growth, sustainability or its position in the local economy through the use of excellent management practices. This Award cannot be applied for – it is chosen by the judges and given to a company that has stood out amongst all the nominations for all categories and deserves a special mention.
