This Award recognises the progress in terms of business growth and development made by a small business over three years old in the Northern Lincolnshire area which has less than 25 employees and a turnover of less than £1.5m.

"The Port of Grimsby & Immingham, owned and operated by Associated British Ports, is the UK's largest port by throughput. It handles a wide range of commodities for both locally and regionally based companies, and is the principal driver of the Northern Lincolnshire economy."
This award recognises the Northern Lincolnshire based business which has significantly grown its workforce, turnover or profit since last year.
North East Lincolnshire Enterprise Award for New Business
For almost 25 years, operating in North East Lincolnshire and East Lindsey, the Enterprise Agency has been offering information, advice, guidance and support to individuals wanting to start their own business and to existing businesses in their development and grow. It is a joint partner in the Consortium responsible for the delivery of LEGI funding through the e-factor, whose fundamental aim is to encourage the culture of enterprise within North East Lincolnshire and to assist individuals to become economically independent.
This award recognises the development made by a North East Lincolnshire based new business which is less than three years old at the time of application. Applicants needed to demonstrate through their application how they had made significant progress as a new business.
North Lincolnshire Enterprise Award for New Business
The South Humber Business Advice Centre Ltd, SoHBAC for short, is the local Enterprise Agency operating throughout North Lincolnshire & West Lindsey. Now in it's 25th year, the Advice Centre offers business information, advice, training & consultancy support appropriate to all stages of business development. It has had involvement with 19714 Clients from which 3259 business development projects have gone ahead with the creation of 10,000 jobs

North East Lincolnshire Economic Investment Award
North East Lincolnshire Council’s Economic Development team offers a wide range of services to assist both Inward Investors locate to the area and support existing businesses to expand. Working with its partners, a team of sector specialists can provide clients with a bespoke service including sites and premises searches, advice on funding, regulatory assistance, provision of socio economic data and general business support initiatives.
This award recognises the contribution a business has made to the local economy. Open to any business that has relocated to or significantly expanded in North East Lincolnshire in the past five years. Applicants needed to demonstrate how they had contributed to the economic success of the area.
North Lincolnshire Economic Investment Award
"North Lincolnshire Council’s Economic Development Team works closely with potential investors, businesses and partner organisations to help encourage business growth in the area and improve the local economy and community. The team provide a wealth of information and support including advice about starting a business, site and property availability, the labour market, through to business grants and training."
This award recognises the contribution a business has made to the local economy. Open to any business that has relocated to or significantly expanded in North Lincolnshire in the past five years. Applicants needed to demonstrate how they had contributed to the economic success of the area.

Grimsby Institute of Further & Higher Education ‘SME’ Manager of the Year Award
The Grimsby Institute of Further & Higher Education is a world class, customer focused and dynamic provider of learning and skills in North East Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas. The main Nuns Corner campus in the heart of Grimsby provides an impressive curriculum spectrum including courses at all levels from entry to masters that encompass community provision, business training and commercial activities.We are proud to boast five Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in digital media, ports and logistics, autotronics, gas and plumbing technology as well as food manufacturing technology.
This award recognises people managers of small enterprises (private sector), employing up to 150 employees . Applicants had to demonstrate through their application how they had influenced the successful management of the workforce to the benefit of the company.
