Gala Dinner
Don’t miss your opportunity to attend the 2008 Gala Awards Dinner (Black Tie) and Presentation Evening.
The theme of the evening this year is Moulin Rouge and what a night we have lined up for you! From a ‘Champagne Reception’, through to a three course French styled Dinner with coffee and chocolates and followed by a Moulin Rouge Show with West End performers it will be a party atmosphere all the way.
The highlight of the evening is of course the presentation of Awards, beautifully hosted by TV personality and journalist Helen Fospero.
So don’t delay.... book on and come and celebrate business success with us.

Where's the venue?

Who hosts the evening?
Grimsby girl Helen Fospero started her career as the tea girl at Grimsby Telegraph when she was a young teenager. She is now a respected journalist, TV presenter, corporate host and moderator.
Currently presenting the news on Channel 5 and Sky, Helen has also presented BBC’s Look North and served as GMTV’s US correspondent in New York, where she witnessed and reported on the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre from her Manhattan balcony.
Helen’s unique brand of crisp professionalism and friendly manner was an instant success when she first hosted the Business Awards for the Chamber back in 2005 and we are pleased to welcome her back for a fourth year to Grimsby Auditorium.

Who comperes the evening?
The evening this year will be compered by Will MacFadzean. What must, by now, be considered a career actually started with a burning desire to teach, but somehow led to a life working in theatre, TV, radio and newspapers, How this happened is a story perhaps best told elsewhere - probably in the presence of strong drink.
Without much direction or planning, Mac’s record of desperately underpaid acting, moderately paid scriptwriting for a BAFTA nominated kids’ TV programme and outrageously overpaid self-indulgence at the Daily Mirror has resulted in his present role as one of the only full-time, specialist conference and corporate event presenters in the country. It all adds up to an existence that is difficult to define, but beats real work.
